What you will need to bring

• Your Chosen Image

Bring a good-quality image of what you’d like to paint, such as a favourite beach, pet, photograph or inspiration found online. An A4 photo print (available from Officeworks) is recommended for easy reference during class.

Please email your image before the workshop so I can recommend a suitable canvas size and assess whether it can realistically be completed within the five days.

  Need Inspiration?

I have a large collection of reference images you’re welcome to browse. Please arrange a time with me beforehand to look through them.

• Your Canvas

Choose a good-quality, artist-grade linen canvas with deep sides. Avoid cheaper canvases, which can tear or warp.

Affordable options are available from Jacksons Art Supplies, Officeworks, Riot Art (online) and Bunnings.
